About
My name is Jennifer Jackson. I am a 3rd year doctoral student studying School Psychology at The Ohio State University. My interests are in bullying prevention, trauma, victimization, reading instruction, and academic interventions.
School psychologists are trained in assessments, consultation, counseling, interventions (i.e., behavioral and academic) and research. I have experience working with children with developmental, behavioral, and learning disabilities in a K12 urban school. Moreover, I have led numerous social-emotional groups focusing on emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and social skills.
My experiences led me to running for the Education Committee. Reading is so important to our youth! Therefore I would love to help our family youth with their reading ability!
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child academic achievement.
